Savannah James, the childhood sweetheart and now wife of NBA superstar LeBron James, had plenty to say on a recent podcast episode when it comes to “side chicks” and “sneaky links” as well as being LeBron’s “wifey.”

James, throughout a miraculous career that spans over two decades, has managed to keep his reputation, as well as his marriage, squeaky clean.

But while he’s seemingly been able to avoid drama with side chicks and sneaky links, Savannah still has some strong feelings on the matter.

On a recent episode of her Everybody’s Crazy podcast, Savannah James discussed the differences between a sneaky link and a side chick, why she hates both, and why she despises the term “wifey.”

She began by stating that both side chicks and sneaky links were “too much” and that if you want to mess around, you should just stay single.

James then dove further into the term “wifey” and why she holds so much contempt for the word.

“When I tell you I hate, LOATH, ‘wifey’ with my whole entire soul,” she said. “Because (redacted) don’t call me your wifey. I’m not. I’m not. I had to politely tell my husband back in the day.”

James said that she didn’t want to be introduced as LeBron’s wife until they were officially married.

LeBron and Savannah officially wed in September of 2023 and now have three children together – Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri.

While LeBron and Savannah publicly maintain the image of a perfect couple, that doesn’t mean they’ve avoided rumors.

In late 2022, podcast host Sofia Franklyn alleged that LeBron routinely cheats on his wife and even described how.

“LeBron James has various parties, constantly where NDAs need to be signed and women are at. You didn’t know that? You didn’t know LeBron’s a cheetah,” Franklyn stated.

Nothing more came from the allegations. But it appears Savannah has made her feelings abundantly clear about where she stands on the matter.
