It appears that FS1 has an early candidate to replace Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed.
Last week it was reported by the NY Post’s Ryan Glasspeigel that Sharpe had reached a buyout to leave the show due to ongoing friction with Bayless.
According to Glasspeigel, Sharpe requested equal control of topic selection on the show, which was a no-go for Bayless.

People close to Sharpe said privately he did not seek to be the unquestioned leader on the show, but wanted to be an equal with Bayless in the program’s topic selection.
Another element that seemed to bleed over between the two was that Sharpe is close with LeBron James, while Bayless has been a hard grader of James’ performance over the years.
On Monday, Front Office Sports’ Michael McCarthy is reporting that FS1 will have former NFL running back LeSean McCoy on the show for a bit to see how he meshes with Bayless.

LeSean McCoy is emerging as an early possible contender to succeed Shannon Sharpe as Skip Bayless’ debate partner on “Undisputed.”
The former NFL star turned co-host of FS1’s “SPEAK” is expected to have an extended audition with the irascible Bayless once Sharpe takes his contractual buyout from Fox Sports, two sources with knowledge of the situation told Front Office Sports.
The ex-NFL running back nicknamed “Shady” is still relatively green TV-wise. The six-time Pro Bowler only joined FS1 in September 2022 after a 12-year NFL career with four teams. But McCoy knows how to get into the end zone.
