Jets tried to trade Le’Veon Bell for weeks, dating back to last year’s trade deadline. There were no takers. Tonight they released him. Bell now is a free agent. https://t.co/i12gKi220k

Bell’s release comes a few days after he liked a couple of tweets about how the team was misusing him on the field which rubbed coach Adam Gase the wrong way.
The #Jets should trade @LeVeonBell. I LOVE the guy but I’m tired of Gase’s BS. He doesn’t know how to use him so they might as well get a pick for him in this lost season. https://t.co/ChG0Rk2w0m

"I hate that’s the route that we go with all of this instead of just talking to me about it, but it is the way guys want to do it nowadays"
