Lions’ Dan Campbell Ripped To Shreds For Going For It On 4th Down In Field Goal Range

Lions head coach Dan Campbell may have gambled one too many times.

While down three points with seven minutes to go in the game, Campbell decided to go for it on 4th-and-3 while in field goal range.

Unfortunately for the Lions, they turned the ball over on downs, and the 49ers were able to score a touchdown on a short field to extend their lead to ten points.

Eventually, the Lions lost the game by a field goal, and fans crushed Campbell on social media.

Campbell says he doesn’t regret going for it on fourth down.

‘It’s easy — hindsight. I get it. But i don’t regret those decisions. … I understand the scrutiny I’ll get … but it just didn’t work out.”
