LIV Golf is going to take over Las Vegas for an entire week next year for one of their marquee preseason events. On Wednesday, LIV Golf and MGM Resorts announced a partnership that will showcase the Saudi golf week at their properties for “LIV Golf Week’ in 2026.

MGM Resorts will serve as the host venue and presenting partner for LIV Golf Week, an annual pre-season event which will relocate from Florida to Las Vegas in advance of the 2026 LIV Golf season. LIV Golf Week brings together players, team staff, and league officials for a wide range of pre-season activities across several days including content capture for broadcast and corporate partners; global press engagement with influencers and media from sports, entertainment and lifestyle outlets; league and team commercial campaigns, and much more as players prepare for the upcoming season.
Lance Evans, MGM Resorts’ Senior Vice President of Sports and Sponsorships, said, “Our collaboration with LIV Golf gives us the opportunity to offer our guests and golf fans unparalleled access to a variety of world-class events that only MGM Rewards can provide. We look forward to this new relationship and having the ability to create memorable and unmatched event experiences.”
It’s interesting to see LIV Golf continue planning new events in 2026, considering there are still merger talks with the PGA Tour.
A few months ago, Rory McIlroy said the merger didn’t feel any closer, and this weekend, LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil spoke about the possibility of the two leagues joining forces.
“And so we have this amazing, amazing opportunity. Now, if some of the opportunity leads to some sort of connection and collaboration with the PGA (Tour), let’s go do it.”
