Popular LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne may have a fifth year of eligibility left, but she still hasn’t decided what she is going to do next.

The 21-year-old already has already been a part of LSU’s first NCAA Gymnastics Championship, a lucrative career as an influencer, and a boyfriend in Paul Skenes who is also a well-known athlete with tremendous future earnings ahead of him.

So what else does she have to achieve, other than attempting to return to the National Championship and competing in it? (She only actually competed in the NCAA Regional Second Round, but sat out the Regional Final, Semifinals, and NCAA Championships.)

“So I do have eligibility for a fifth year, which I haven’t decided yet,” Dunne told the New York Post. “I am thinking about it… But I do have eligibility [for another year at LSU].

“I don’t think I’m going to try for the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and went to LSU.”

Livvy Dunne’s teammate Haleigh Bryant, the 2024 NCAA All-Around Champion, already announced that she will be returning for her fifth year of eligibility, as well Chase Brock.

The team’s other senior, Elena Arenas, announced that she was retiring from competition last week.

“The national championship, that was obviously the end goal,” Dunne told the Post. “That was the cherry on top of my senior year. It’s just so cool to be able to make history like with my whole team.”

In perhaps a hint at what her plans are this fall, Livvy Dunne has already moved back to her home state of New Jersey and has been busy doing promotional work for the 60th anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and the many companies she represents.

“After my season, that’s when I do all of my obligations and I get to work with the brands that I’m partnered with because I usually don’t work with them during my season,” Dunne said.

For what it’s worth, she still stands to rake in a ton of NIL money should she return and back in April, after winning the national championship, Dunne did say, “It definitely makes me want to come back.”
