Los Angeles Clippers Mascot Gave A 104-Year-Old WWII Veteran A Wet Willie On Veterans Day

How did you salute the troops this Veterans Day? Maybe attend a parade or donate to a veterans group? Maybe a moment of quiet reflection before a legendary 49ers-Seahawks Monday Night Football game? Maybe a tiny tribute on social media honoring those who served past or present?

However you honored our Veterans today, I guarantee it wasn’t as weird as what the Los Angeles Clippers mascot, Chuck, did on the hardwood at the Staples Center.

During a ceremony at halftime on Monday night’s game against the Raptors, the Los Angeles Clippers honored 104 year old veteran Sam Sachs. A Los Angeles native, Sachs is a true American badass, surviving D-Day and serving in Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands near the end of World War II.
