Jarrod Haschert doesn’t have a date to the Marine Corps Ball, so instead of going stag he invited a nice girl to the prestigious event, Ronda Rousey. Go big or go home, I say.
On August 22, the U.S. Marine posted an online proposal to the UFC fighter on his Facebook. Since then the video has gone viral, and has been viewed nearly 4 million times, plus has over 173,000 shares.
Here’s Jarrod’s proposal:
“You are my celebrity crush, like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person,Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11th. I really hope this doesn’t get in the way of your training for your next fight in January. But I hope you take this in consideration because if you do you would truly be making my dreams come true. I really hope you get this, and take consideration into it, thank you very much.”
He was even considerate of how the December 11th date of the Marine Corps Ball may conflict with training for her fight against Holly Holm at UFC 195 on January 2 in Las Vegas.
It hasn’t sparked a reaction from the reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion as of yet, but if it keeps going viral she will have to address it. Here’s to Jarrod getting his celebrity crush to go with him to the ball.
