Marquez Valdes-Scantling has not only played with some of the best quarterbacks of his era, but, according to the speedster wide receiver, of all time, too.

Speaking to the media at the Super Bowl this week, the 29-year-old pass catcher, who is in his second season in Kansas City, said that the two quarterbacks he’s played with, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, are the two best QBs of all time.

While Valdes-Scantling smartly added Brady’s name to the conversation, he made to point out that while Brady might have the statistical edge, he believes that Rodgers and Mahomes have superior arm talent.

“I’ve played with the two best quarterbacks to ever play this game, especially when it comes to arm talent. Obviously Brady has all the statistics, but I think Pat’s getting pretty close to breaking some of those,” Valdes-Scantling told reporters.

“But when it comes to arm talent, between Aaron and Pat, they’re equal, so having those two guys being my quarterbacks for my career has been nothing but life-changing. I’m grateful for both those guys, I’ve got great friendships with both those guys. I hope I can finish my career with Pat.”

While Mahomes might be widely considered as having the best arm talent in the history of the NFL, that won’t mean much on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers unless his receievers, such as Valdes-Scantling, catch the passes he throws to them.

Valdes-Scantling is coming off the worst season of his professional career, in fact, as he’s caught 21 catches for 315 yards and a touchdown.

If Mahomes does secure his third Super Bowl title this year, the GOAT debate between him and Tom Brady will certainly reach new heights, as it’ll give Mahomes his third championship before his 29th birthday.

Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers kicks off on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. EST.
