The college football season hasn’t even ended yet and the transfer portal rumor mill is alsready churning out some wild stuff.

We have already seen plenty of big names changing allegiances in the portal this year, but now fans have begun speculating about one of college football’s best receivers leaving one of the nation’s biggest programs for another of its biggest programs.

Marvin Harrison Jr has recently been linked with a potential transfer to USC.

Rivals.com’s Jeremy Birmingham revealed during an appearance on “The Roosters Report” that he had recently spoke to Harrison Jr, who strongly denied the claim.

I did ask Marvin Harrison a very important question. I asked him when he’s packing his stuff to transfer to USC. And he said, and I quote, ‘Where the [bleep] do they come up with this stuff?

While it is highly unlikely that Harrison would leave Ohio State for his last season in college before becoming an early entrant in the NFL Draft, there is one thing that seemingly fueled the idea that Harrison Jr could leave the Buckeyes. They have some questions to answer at quarterback.

For his 1st two seasons at Ohio State, Harrison Jr has had CJ Stroud throwing him the ball and the results have obviously been pretty impressive. Now Stroud will be leaving the Buckeyes for the draft where he is expected to be one of the first quarterbacks picked.

Ohio State always makes sure to have some 4 and 5-star quarterbacks on their bench ready to go in case of an injury or for when their starter leaves, but we don’t know what level whoever replaces Stroud will be able to play at next season.

Despite those concerns, it seems pretty likely Marvin Harrison Jr will be sticking around for another year with the Buckeyes to try and finally deliver them his first Big 10 title and even the national title they came so close to competing for this season.
