Over the weekend, plenty of Colts fans had their spirits crushed when Andrew Luck announced he was retiring after deciding he was tired of constantly putting his body on the line following an injury-plagued career.
It’s safe to say that not everyone took the news too well, as at least a few Colts fans (who were admittedly in the vocal minority) decided to boo Luck after he left the field during the team’s preseason game against the Bears on Saturday night.

Class out the ass.
On Monday, we learned that at least a few fans who probably didn’t read the fine print were pissed enough about Luck’s decision to call and demand the team refund their season tickets.
Probably no surprise, but fans calling Colts HQ today, demanding refunds for their season tickets.

Good luck with that.
As one observer pointed out, Colts fans have had it pretty damn good for a while now, so while Jacoby Brissett might not be the most inspiring quarterback in the world, you have to wonder how much they really love the team if they’re willing to jump ship just because they lost their franchise player.
Colts fans have had two decades — literally — of nearly uninterrupted franchise quarterbacks fall in their lap and the second adversity strikes they want a refund. Grow up. https://t.co/AtuxJebUxT

Shortly after Keefer posted the tweet above, Matt Overton—who served as a long snapper for the Colts before taking his talents to Jacksonville—took to the platform and offered to buy season tickets from any fan who is actually willing to follow through on their threat so he can donate them to a children’s hospital.
To any angry Colts season ticket holders who are seeking a refund,
I’d be more than happy to buy your season tix off of you & donate them to @RileyChildrens patients & their families. I’m serious.
All love,
~Matt

Luck had previously worked with the charitable organization in question, which thanked him for the work he did with them during his time in Indianapolis following his retirement announcement.
A huge thank-you goes out to Andrew Luck from all of us here at Riley Children’s Health. Thank you for sharing your passion for a healthy lifestyle, for bringing smiles to kids’ faces, and for all you’ve given back. We wish you the best in retirement. #ThankYouLuck pic.twitter.com/3ruJCXh0hC

Your move, disgruntled Colts fans.
