Bill Belichick’s relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson has become so perplexing that speculation about it has now crossed over into non-sports shows. On Monday, Megan Kelly, of all people, devoted an entire segment of her show to the increasingly bizarre relationship.

While it was certainly unusual for a 73-year-old man to be dating a 24-year-old woman, it wasn’t until Jordon Hudson began asserting herself publicly in Bill Belichick’s life that people really started to question the nature of their relationship.

Over just the past two weeks, Hudson has appeared to have been overly involved in North Carolina’s spring practice despite not having an official role with the school, made demands to the school about blocking people criticizing the coach, and very strongly rejected a line of questioning from off-camera as Belichick was being interviewed by CBS.

Not only has her actions raised suspicions about how she and Belichick actually met, it is reportedly causing concern within the North Carolina athletic department about their hiring of the Super Bowl-winning coach.

It has also led the aforementioned Megyn Kelly to wonder publicly if The Hoodie isn’t actually the victim of elder abuse. Seriously.

Kelly starts the discussion by stating it’s “got to be a very big sports story” for it to “migrate” over into her “news lane.”

She goes on to say that Jordon Hudson appears to be “on the sidelines calling all the shots and like, trying to decide what he can answer and what he can’t.”

“In this interview, and what we learned today,” Kelly continued, “was that it was far worse than CBS This Morning, which is like, a nice program, they try to do, like, nice stories, would even air.

“The reason, reportedly, that they chose to air this one interruption of hers is because it was far worse than this. She was trying to dominate behind the scenes and they felt it was okay to include one of her interruptions just to give the audience, you know, to be transparent, that they had this monster on screen left who was completely trying to control him. And it was to the point where they didn’t feel like it would have journalistic integrity if they didn’t show at least some of it.”

Kelly goes on to say, “The reactions online are basically, ‘blink twice if you need help, Bill Belichick.’ And that’s how it looks. I’m concerned for him.”

She added, explaining, “I don’t know what I’m seeing, but I know that if the situation were reversed and we had a, what, 74-year-old female and a 24-year-old male in the background, like, we’re not talking about that. We’d be accusing him of elder abuse and asking whether he was guilty of coercive control and whether this woman was okay. And honestly, I’ve got all those same questions here.”

Meanwhile, Jordan Hudson, poured gas on the fires of speculation on Tuesday with an Instagram post in which she literally copied a private email sent from Bill Belichick to her and others talking about the way his book is being discussed by the media.

“Full statement to be released later today,” Hudson wrote in the caption. Stay tuned.
