Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick, has made immediate headlines in Chapel Hill. The former cheerleader has taken it upon herself to become a part of the program.
Recent email communication with the university has shown the lengths she’s gone to in order to shield her significant other from online criticism. She continues to add responsibilities to her growing list of job duties with a non-existent company!
Matt Baker of The Athletic obtained conversations between Hudson and the school, which he posted in a story this week. This, coming after Belichick demanded his girlfriend be included on all emails relating to the football team.
Those emails are public record given North Carolina’s status as a public university. Baker detailed a few of the more interesting communications involving Hudson, Belichick, and UNC brass.

“Is there anyone monitoring the UNC Football page for slanderous commentary and subsequently deleting it/blocking users that are harassing BB in the comments?” one email from mid-February read.
It landed a quick reply from the head coach that stated, “I cannot believe that UNC would support my being called a ‘predator.'”
Hudson wanted the school to block those commenting negatively on the school’s official pages about her relationship. That relationship has been under scrutiny for some time.
Bill Belichick is 72 years old. Jordon Hudson is 24 years of age. The age gap has been a talking point ever since the duo went public as a couple.
The coach opened himself up for more criticism by including her in day-to-day operations with his program. Hudson is NOT employed by the university. Still, her presence with the Tar Heels been very visible.
She was on the field throughout the entirety of the spring game, presumably for content purposes. The email access has already been mentioned. What is her actual role, though?
Her email signature in those communications with North Carolina is COO of Belichick Productions. That company does not exist according to Matt Baker.
The job title would line up with her supposed duties of content creation. It would also explain why she refuses to let the head coach be slandered online.
Other email conversations showing Jordon Hudson’s concerns included the topic of nepotism. Belichick hired his son, Steve, to run his defense. She asked that the hire be portrayed as one in which that familial relationship had no bearing.
“Though Steve Belichick is in fact Bill’s son, he should be depicted and represented as his own established, credible entity as opposed to an extension of Bill. It can be easily misinterpreted that Steve is simply benefitting from nepotism but that is not the case.”

In reality, Steve Belichick is only with the Tar Heels due to his father after spending one season as Washington’s defensive coordinator. Jordon Hudson is only involved with the program because of her romantic relationship with the head coach. Relationships are a part of how the professional world operates, right or wrong.
Hudson does not want her involvement with the university to be misconstrued. She has made it her job to defend both Bill Belichick and their ongoing relationship. Expect to see more of the former cheerleader on the sidelines in the North Carolina football season.
