Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzo might want to not check her Instagram comments for awhile.
On Wednesday, Messi announced that he was turning down a huge offer from Al-Hilal Saudi Club to go to Inter Miami.
“I made the decision that I am going to go to Miami,” Messi said. “I still haven’t closed it 100%. I’m missing some things, but we decided to continue on the path.”
Messi apparently turned down up to $1.6 billion from the Saudi Arabian club
Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal made one final offer to Lionel Messi, per @HelenaCondis:

Before the decision, several reports indicated that Roccuzzo was pushing Messi to go to America because she couldn’t imagine living in Saudi Arabia.

Roccuzzo is now being inundated with nasty messages from fans who are angry that she may have persuaded Messi from not signing with Al-Hilal.
Her latest Instagram post has thousands of comments of people berating her after Messi chose to go to Miami.
“You’ll never be Georgina no matter what you do” wrote one person.
Other angry fans are spamming Roccuzzo’s comments with nasty emojis.

Roccuzzo is even receiving hateful comments on Twitter.
