A Mets Fan Has Started A GoFundMe To Buy The Team A Decent Hitter

Poor Mets fans. Just when you finally get a bullpen full of arms your team can’t hit worth a lick.

Well, diehard Mets fan Etan Bednarsh thinks what most Mets fans think: If only they had a solid hitter in the lineup they could push their way into first place.

So rather than just sit around and wait for Mets brass do something about it he went ahead, took some initiative, and started a GoFundMe page to help make that happen.

Unfortunately, as of this writing, with just two days left to reach his goal of $3 million Etan has only raised $2,001. Perhaps this video he made will help spur you to donate to his most worthy of causes.

In case you can’t watch the video, here’s his description…

My name is Etan. I love the Mets. And I hate that I have to make this video. www.bit.ly/fundraisethemets

The Mets have all-star pitching but minor league hitting – We need a hitter. But, the Mets owners lost all their money in a ponzi scheme and reports now say the Mets won’t pay 2 to 3 million dollars to acquire a player before the trade deadline.

So here’s what we need: 3 million dollars. If the Mets owners can’t do it, Mets fans can. And when we raise 3 million dollars, we will give every single penny to the New York Mets so that they can get what they need most: a guy who can hit in the middle of the order.

Think about Jaocb Degrom. Matt Harvey. Noah Syndergaard. If we don’t raise this money, we will get no hitters. We will score no runs. We will not win.

But we could win. So donate what you can afford. Let’s! Go! Fund. The Mets. www.bit.ly/fundraisethemets

Bro is desperate. Help him out.
