Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons weighed in on the controversial Eagles ‘Tush-Push’ play, calling it a “cheat code,”

Micah Parsons noted on his The Edge podcast that the Eagles’ powerful offensive line and quarterback Jalen Hurts’ strength, saying that they make the play nearly unstoppable.

“It’s hard to deny that it’s a bit of a cheat code when you’ve got the best offensive line in the game and a quarterback who squats 600 pounds,” said Parsons.

“But we can’t just cry foul and call it illegal because of their talent. We’ve got to adapt, be ready to counter it, and find a way to stop it.” Parsons added.

Parsons said that it’s not solely the league’s responsibility to ban the play just because some teams struggle to defend against it.

He believes that teams need to develop strategies to combat the Eagles’ effective ‘Tush-Push.’

Many fans have dubbed the Eagles’ ‘Tush-Push’ play as a play that should be banned, and the NFL did consider it this offseason.

Last season, Jalen Hurts had an impressive 90% success rate, converting 36 of 40 quarterback sneaks, thanks in part to the ‘Tush Push’, which played a role in the Eagles making it to the Super Bowl.

Notable NFL players, like Parsons, Richard Sherman, and Patrick Mahomes recently spoke about the play.
