On Wednesday morning, Dallas Cowboys otherworldy linebacker Micah Parsons was set to make his debut on Fox Sports One Undisputed — the first of many scheduled appearances he was set to make throughout the season.
However, when Parsons’ segment on Undisputed was set to begin, the Cowboys star was nowhere to be found, leaving Skip Bayless and the show itself with their metaphorical piece in their hands.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the 23-year-old explained why he bailed on the appearance, saying he didn’t feel it was appropriate following the injury to quarterback Dak Prescott, who needed surgery on his thumb following Sunday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

“I didn’t think it was appropriate to be on the show at that point. We just lost our starting QB. I think I need to be a leader now and that’s not on TV,” Parsons said.
Additionally, Parsons explained that he had told his people of his decision not to appear on the show and there was obviously some miscommunication with Undisputed’s production team.

At this time, it is unclear if Parsons will appear on the program next week.
