I’m Disappointed With Michael Jordan When It Comes His Falling Out With Charles Barkley

It has been talked about at length since ESPN released the two most recent episodes of ‘The Last Dance‘ that Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley still do not get along. We all know the story by now, but long story short, Jordan was upset at Barkley for criticizing him for his lack of success since becoming the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets.

The two have now gone years without speaking and I have to admit, I am disappointed in Jordan for this one. It is Barkley’s job as an analyst on a national stage to call it like he sees it, which is exactly what the man does best. It would not be fair to fans all over the world that love the NBA if he just sat up there and buttered Jordan up because he is his friend.

Let’s be honest with each other, the Hornets have not been relevant since Jordan linked up with them in 2010, by no means was Barkley lying or exaggerating in his comments.

What bothers me most is how great it would be for NBA fans to see Jordan and Barkley back on good terms chopping it up. ‘The Last Dance’ would be even better than it already is if we got a couple Barkley cameos.

The NBA was at its absolute peak when these guys were spending bro time with each other at the Olympics. I wish I could say there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those who want to see these two reconnect, but there doesn’t seem to be any. Both are competitive, stubborn legends who will most likely not want to swallow their pride and pick up the phone to apologize. It is another story that has unraveled since the documentary has been released, and one that we can only hope will come to an end.
