Skip Bayless caught plenty of heat (and rightfully so) over his comments regarding Damar Hamlin. The timing of his tweet was just incredibly tone-deaf.
With that said, there are still some figures around the NFL that aren’t too happy with the popular TV host.
During the pre-game show before Sunday’s NFL games kicked off, Michael Strahan had some choice words for Skip Bayless. Albeit, it was an indirect message, as Strahan didn’t explicitly name Bayless. Even so, based on the topic at hand and the network he works for, it’s not hard to connect the dots.

Michael Strahan nails it on the head here. At this point, football is secondary for Damar Hamlin and his family. It could possibly even fall down to third on the list of importance right now. Clearly, Skip Bayless rubbed Strahan the wrong way, as Skip was unable to read the room when he sent that tweet.
In the end, everybody just wants the best for Damar Hamlin. It sounds like he’s making a good recovery while he’s still in the hospital. Even Bayless shared his concern, albeit, it was after the tweet he sent that angered Michael Strahan, Shannon Sharpe, and many others.
Look for more updates to continuously come to fruition regarding Hamlin. He still has a long road ahead. But hopefully, he can return to a form of normalcy sooner, rather than later.
