The first day of the NFL’s official free agency period brought forth a slew of major signings, including longtime Tampa Bay Bucs wideout Mike Evans landing with the San Francisco 49ers. Evans, 32 years old, signed a three-year deal worth up to $60 million with the Niners.

Already a future Hall of Famer, Evans played 12 seasons for the Buccaneers and had 866 catches for 13,052 yards and scored 109 touchdowns. He was selected to play in 6 Pro Bowls, and won a championship with the team in 2021.
Despite being one of the NFL’s best-run organizations, the 49ers find themselves outside the top 10 favorites to win next season Super Bowl with odds of +1900, which trails the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and New England Patriots.
