Mike Francesa is “radio famous” for many things, most of which he never intended to be famous for. Two of the more notable pieces of fame are for sounding like the real life Elmer Fudd, and for pretending he never said something that he did in fact, say.
The man regularly rewrites history in real time without flinching as long as it benefits himself. The constant flip flopping that’s done with such self-assurance — like in the video above about Leonard Fournette’s Heisman chances — is something you just can’t teach. In short, he could retire today and become the next greatest, worst politician.
