Mike Tyson seems to have confirmed one of the big questions ahead of his fight against Jake Paul.

Last month, when the fight was announced, it was unclear whether or not the Paul-Tyson fight would be a pro fight or an exhibition.

During a recent interview with Sean Hannity, Tyson shot down some rumors circulating online about the rules of the fight by confirming that his fight against Paul would be an “exhibition” with real fight rules.

“This is called an exhibition, but if you look up exhibition you will not see any of the rules will be fighting under. This is a fight’

Tyson went on to say that he’s taking his fight seriously because he believes Paul is going to try and hurt him.

“I don’t think he’s faster than me. I train every day, I take it serious… I’m invincible.

“I think he;s come a long way from YouTubing. I seen a YouTube of him at 16 doing weird dances, that’s not the guy I’m fighting. This guys gonna come, try and hurt me… and he’s gonna be greatly mistaken.”

Over the weekend, a rumored set of rules claimed that the fight would be with bigger gloves and 2-minute rounds. Paul’s manager, Nikasa Bidarian, quickly dispelled the rumors.

It’s still unclear if the Texas Athletic Commission will approve the exhibition, considering the 30-year age gap between the two fighters.
