Not every team in the NFL has their quarterback situations figured out like the Packers do with Aaron Rodgers and the Broncos with Russell Wilson coming into the fold.
The New York Giants haven’t had their QB room in a good place since Eli Manning decided to retire in January of 2020.
Daniel Jones hasn’t exactly lit the league on fire, but a new report suggests New York could be adding an experienced quarterback to come in and compete with Jones.
That experienced quarterback is none other than Mitchell Trubisky.
Charles Robinson of Yahoo is hearing that the G-men will end up with Trubisky.
Quick note on a QB not named Wilson or Rodgers: Spoke to a team in the thick of it for a competitive backup QB in free agency, and they have a strong belief that Mitchell Trubisky is going to end up with the New York Giants and competing with Daniel Jones for the starting job.

Trubisky spent last season with the Buffalo Bills appearing in six games. He of course spent the first four seasons of his career in Chicago with the Bears where he went 29-21 overall.
The former North Carolina standout has a career completion percentage of 64.1% throwing 64 touchdowns and 38 interceptions in his career.
For comparison, Jones is 12-25 as a starter with a completion percentage of 62.8% throwing 45 touchdowns and 29 picks.
Trubisky may not be the top name on the wishlist of Giants fans, but he would put some pressure on Jones at the very least.
