The Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers are absolutely awful. And, one of them, Marquez Valdes Scantling, lost the game for the team when he dropped a perfect Patrick Mahomes pass for the game-winning touchdown with under two minutes remaining in a 21-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles

Take a look at the absolutely horrific drop.

That is just an unreal throw from Patrick Mahomes, and an all-time bad drop by Marquez Valdes-Scantling. That would have given the Chiefs an incredible 91-yard touchdown drive in the two-minute drill to take the lead in the Super Bowl rematch. Instead, Scantling dropped it. Mahomes was called for intentional grounding on a de facto sack on the next play, and a fourth down throw went through the hands of Justin Watson on a much-tougher catch, and the Chiefs lost, 21-17.

This came after Travis Kelce fumbled inside the Eagles’ ten-yard line in the third quarter with a chance to put Kansas City up two scores. Mahomes’ weapons really let him down.

And, they let Chiefs Kingdom down, too. People were not happy with Marquez Valdes-Scantling after the game.

“There is absolutely no reason MVS should be getting the snaps he gets. Absolutely worthless,” Chief_Bearcat said.

“KC can’t continue rolling out MVS like this man. He’s a no show every night and just made the worst drop of the year,” @h8rproof82 said.

“Taylor Swift is going to write the most devastating lyrics ever about Marquez Valdes-Scantling,”@BaileyCarlin said.

Just a flat-out terrible drop that straight-up cost them the game.
