Zion Williamson has been at the center of drama lately all due to off the court issues.
Even so, it doesn’t take away from his ability on the court, as he’s arguably the best player on the New Orleans Pelicans.
Injuries have plagued his career so far, but that could all turn around if he can stay healthy. NBA fans love Williamson when he’s on the court and hope he can turn things around.
With that in mind, nearly everyone jumped on board to defend Williamson after a recent report claimed Williamson has a lack of interest in developing his game.
According to Ric Bucher, “Zion Williamson reportedly has ‘no interest’ in developing a floater and pull up jumper.”
NBA Central shared Bucher’s expanded comments.
Zion Williamson reportedly has ‘no interest’ in developing a floater and pull up jumper, per @RicBucher
“Where are the floaters, up and under layups, his pull up jumpers at the elbow? Now from what I’ve been told, he’s shown no interest in developing any of those tricks. Tricks… pic.twitter.com/XIfWfvtpG8

Considering talent has never been an issue with Zion Williamson, it’s hard to imagine he doesn’t want to improve his game in the NBA.
Say what you want about the kid, but he’s an amazing baller when healthy. For that reason, basketball fans everywhere blasted Ric Bucher’s report.
This is lies… this man don’t know what Zion working on

Maybe he’s not practicing his floater and jumper because of the injuries.
Zion was literally doing this before he got injured last season. Y’all just tweet anything for clicks now.

There’s video evidence of Zion Williamson using those moves in the NBA.
Zion started to add the back down fade away and back down turn around floater to his game right before he got injured.

Williamson is one of the most efficient scorers whenever he’s on the court.
And criticizing Zions scoring ability is crazy given hes one of the most efficient high volume scorers ever

If anything, the Pelicans’ star just has to find a way to remain healthy. The injury bug has effected his career so far, but he has time to turn things around for the better.
Additionally, it’s kind of cool to see so many NBA fans defend Zion Williamson like that.
