The NFC South got some good news this week.

They won’t have to deal with Tom Brady anymore after he decided to retire a few days ago.

Today, one of their stars gave his reaction to Brady deciding to bring his career to an end.

Cameron Jordan told NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe that he’s glad to have Brady out of the division and took the opportunity to roast the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were not very good for a while before Tom Brady came along.

From 2009 to 2019, the team had just 2 seasons where they finished above .500. During that time, they had the same number of top 5 picks.

The Buccaneers’ history is so full of losing seasons that Tom Brady is currently 3rd on their all-time list in regular season wins despite only playing for them for the last 3 years. The Buccaneers have been a team since 1976.

With Brady gone, there is a ton of uncertainty about what comes next for the Bucs. Their only rostered quarterback right now is Kyle Trask.

Thanks to the team making the playoffs this season, they aren’t in position to land their next quarterback in this year’s draft.

They also aren’t in the best cap situation to try and sign a starting quarterback.

That could leave them looking to start a full rebuild even in a very weak NFC South. It could also give Jordan a lot to look forward to when the New Orleans Saints meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season.
