The New York Rangers held a fan contest to win tickets to last night’s playoff opener. They were looking for dedicated fanatics willing to do anything in support of the team. This fine gentleman jumped at the opportunity to get an image of Rick Nash etched into his mane — and his bravery earned him the prize.
Admittedly, this looks pretty stupid. But dammit if it didn’t get results in the form of a 4-1 Rangers victory. Guess I wouldn’t be surprised to see more dudes walking around the city sporting this look. You know, because it’s the Cup.
