The Stanley Cup Playoffs are heading to round two and there have been numerous surprises already.
Even though nearly nobody saw it happening, the Seattle Kraken eliminated the Colorado Avalanche in Game 7. Now, the NHL world loses its mind after witnessing history.
According to ESPN, Seattle is the first NHL franchise ever to eliminate the defending champions in their first series win.

This Kraken team has really come along nicely. After making the biggest turnaround in league history, Seattle was able to eliminate the defending champs.
Clearly, this franchise is all about making history, as the Kraken aims to take over the NHL, especially after defeating the Avalanche.
As you can imagine, hockey fans everywhere couldn’t believe what Seattle accomplished on Sunday night. Some are happy, some are upset. It seems the Kraken put everyone through a roller coaster of emotions.

The NHL world is a bit all over the place when it comes to the Kraken and Avalanche.
We’ll see if Seattle can keep the streak going as they take on an incredibly tough Dallas Stars team in the second round.
