Things got a little awkward during the coaches’ press conference ahead of the Rose Bowl game.

On Sunday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh held a joint press conference to meet with media members.

During the presser, Saban was asked if he was concerned about Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal while Harbaugh awkwardly watched his rival answer the question.

Saban said he wasn’t concerned about sign-stealing but did end up taking a jab at Michigan over “integrity.”

“No, we’re really not concerned about that,” said Saban. “Integrity in the game I think is really, really important, and our team has had every opportunity to prepare for this game just like they have every other game.”

Saban hoped that the sign-stealing scandal would lead to college football adopting headsets in helmets like the NFL.

“I think that especially when you’re a no-huddle team you’ve got to adapt and adjust how you communicate with the quarterback,” “And hopefully one day we’ll get to the NFL system where you can just talk to the guy in his helmet. I think that would be a lot better.”
