Welcome to the official Night of Champions 2014 results posts. Night Of Champions 2014 guaranteed one thing, as it always does, that every championship in the WWE is up for grabs.
The Night of Champions 2014 card was stacked top to bottom with amazing matches and solid WWE performers throughout the card. It was an amazing night that saw Chris Jericho’s last match for awhile, the return of a major WWE force and three title changes. Before we get to the Night of Champions 2014 results, let’s review the card one last time.
Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
The Usos vs. Gold and Stardust for the WWE Tag Team Championships
AJ vs. Paige vs. Nikki Bella for the WWE Divas Title
Mark Henry vs. Rusev
Sheamus vs. Cesaro for the WWE US Heavyweight Championship
The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
One name that does not appear in the Night of Champions 2014 results is Roman Reigns. Reigns was scheduled to face his former partner in The Shield, and current holder of the Money In The Bank briefcase, Seth Rollins. Unfortunately, Roman Reigns suffered an injury prior to the Night of Champions 2014 and could not wrestle.
Reigns dialed 9-1-1 in pain yesterday and was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery on an incarcerated hernia. Reigns’ surgery was successful and he even sent a video message to fans, thanking them for their support.
