Nike Releases NBA All-Star Signature Sneakers And Calling Them Hideous Is An Understatement

The NBA All-Star Game is next weekend, and while the teams have been decided and the uniforms have been released, sneakerheads were probably wondering what kicks some of the game’s biggest stars would be sporting.

Nike unveiled the signature shoes of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Paul George and Anthony Davis and, yeah, if you barf after looking at these I won’t hold it against you.

Without further ado, here’s what those creative geniuses over at the Swoosh stirred up:

LeBron James’ LeBron 13

Kobe Bryant’s Kobe 11 Elite

Kevin Durant’s KD8

Anthony Davis’ Nike Air Audacity

Paul George’s Nike Hyperlive

Look, I love Nike, but maybe the company was under the assumption that, since players don’t really try too hard during All-Star Games, why should their shoe designers? That’s the only thing I can think of because, wow, what eye sores these things are.
