Adidas pulled out all the stops in trying to lure NFL prospects to wear their shoe during this year’s NFL combine. Adidas even went as far as to offer anyone at the combine who broke Chris Johnson’s 40-yard dash record their very own island.
Unfortunately for Adidas, John Ross didn’t want an island and proceeded to break Johnson’s record wearing Nike shoes.
Nike instantly signed Ross to a shoe contract and trolled Adidas in the process.
