Nikola Jokic has not made the plane ride back home to Serbia yet and is instead having the time of his life with his teammates in Vegas.

After winning the NBA championship, Jokic appeared to dread the fact that he had to stay in the United States for another week.

On Thursday, Jokic changed his mind and was actually thankful that he stayed for the team’s championship parade.

“You know that I told that I don’t want to stay on parade, but I f—-ng want to stay on parade. This is the best.”

After the parade, the Nuggets team flew to Vegas to party at Hakkasan night club.

Maybe it was the lingering euphoria of winning the first NBA championship in the history of the Denver Nuggets. Or the thrill of parading through a crowd of 750,000 in that city on Thursday.

Or maybe it was the vodka, procured from Serbia, that inspired Nikola Jokić to unbutton his shirt and unleash the frivolity at Hakkasan Nightclub on Thursday night.

The Nuggets blew into the club amid great whoop-de-doo, tailed by sparklers, a dragon parade, team flags and esteemed DJ Pauly D (who on this night was DJ Pauly Denver, wearing a Jamal Murray jersey).

Videos of Jokic dancing and partying in Vegas with teammates surfaced on the Internet and they are amazing.
