North Dakota State football was forced to delete its Morgan Wallen-inspired hype video after Colorado fans infiltrated the comment section with trash talk and hate. It’s a real shame.

Perhaps the Bison will use all of the chatter as motivation for their game against the Buffaloes in August.

For those who don’t know, Wallen is known for his pre-show tunnel walks. All of the lights go dark in the stadium/arena right before the concert is about to begin. A video appears on the screen next to the stage.

Much like a boxer getting ready for a title bout, Wallen appears behind the stage as ‘Broadway Girls’ plays over the speakers. Special guests often join him for the highly-anticipated entrance, including Lane Kiffin— who refused to wear a Peyton Manning jersey.

Regardless of how you feel about the multi-platinum recording artist, his walkout goes pretty hard. It even became a trend on TikTok. Content creators, many of which are in college, recreate their version of the Morgan Wallen tunnel walk. Small businesses and local brands also got in on the fun.

North Dakota State football posted its version of the walkout over the weekend. As someone who has seen/watched a lot of college sports content, both good and bad, I thought it was pretty electric.

North Dakota State football recreated Morgan Wallen’s tunnel walk.

Unfortunately, people don’t want anybody to have fun anymore. Other fanbases were rather unkind about the Bison’s video and infiltrated the comment section with negativity. So much so that the team decided to pull the video. The haters became too loud.

Colorado fans were especially brutal. They roasted NDSU without remorse.

The Buffaloes will host the Bison in Boulder on Aug. 29. There is a lot of chatter about an upset. Deion Sanders’ team won just four games last year. Its Week 1 opponent is one of the most dominant programs in FCS history— to the point that losses in the Championship game and Semifinal in back-to-back years is considered catastrophic. As a result, North Dakota State is a popular pick to beat Colorado.

Buffs fans are tired of the talk and bulled the Bison into deleting their tunnel walk video by taking their frustration out on the comment section. Boo!
