Petty Ohio State Fans Look Ridiculous While Wearing Anti-Michigan Shirts At Rose Bowl

Ohio State did not play in the Rose Bowl on Monday afternoon. The College Football Playoff semifinal matchup was contested between Michigan and Alabama.

That did not keep a group of Buckeyes from crashing the party. They looked ridiculous.

Attending the Rose Bowl itself is not the issue here. It’s the Grandaddy Of Them All.

Every college football fan should make a point to get to Pasadena on Jan. 1 at some point.

Perhaps the Ohio State fans booked their tickets prior to the final regular season game of the season, which cost their team a chance at the Big Ten Championship and national title. Perhaps they are local to Los Angeles and wanted to check it out. Maybe they won a raffle. Who knows.

Going to the game is fun! It was their attire that took their attendance from jolly to petty.

The (at least) three Buckeyes wore shirts that not only declared their own personal fandom, but declared their desire for the Crimson Tide to beat the Wolverines. Can you say saaaaallllttttyyyy?

With all of that being said, at the end of the day, college football is about having fun. If the fans of the Big Ten East runners-up wanted to sit amongst the rival fanbase and actively root against them— so be it! That’s their prerogative. Seems like a bad idea, but whatever.

There is bag positioned under the man’s seat that is the real issue here.

He was toting a University of Cincinnati drawstring while wearing a shirt in support of Alabama because he is a Ohio State fan who hates Michigan. The math is not adding up!

If you’re going to take such a bold stance in a game that doesn’t include your team, you cannot express your fandom for a different school. Boo!
