After not competing in LSU’s final gymnastics meet versus West Virginia, Olivia Dunne was back in action this past Saturday in Duluth, Georgia at Gas South Arena.

The second-ranked Tigers were competing in the SEC Championships and ended up finishing in third place behind the University of Florida and University of Alabama.

Olivia Dunne scored a 9.850 on the uneven bars, her specialty, which tied her for third best on the Tigers.

Unfortunately, all six Florida gymnasts and five of the six Crimson Tide gymnasts who competed in the event scored higher than Dunne. In total, 30 gymnasts scored higher than Dunne did in the uneven bars event.

Not that many of Livvy’s fans on TikTok care.

A video of her performance, shared on TikTok by Olivia Dunne, has already garnered 1.3 million views.

“Living the dream,” Dunne wrote in the description of the video.

Next up for Olivia Dunne and the LSU gymnastics team is the NCAA Regional 2nd Round on Friday at Magness Arena in Denver.

If necessary, the Tigers will also be competing in the NCAA Regional Final on Sunday there.

Livvy was prominently featured in a tweet posted by the gymnastics team announcing their next competition, where they will be the second seed.

“We are excited to take the next step in our climb out in Denver,” said LSU head coach Jay Clark. “Their program does a good job at hosting these events. I’m sure it will be a good community out there and we hope to see some of our fans come out. There are no easy outs once we get into the bracket and we know we will need to be at our best to advance to the round of 16.”

On Sunday, following the SEC Championships, Olivia Dunne went viral for another video showing her doing a handstand in the LSU locker room.

The LSU Tigers gymnastics team is only ranked behind Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan, UCLA and Utah in the national rankings heading into the NCAA Championships.
