We still haven’t gotten an official decision from Rob Gronkowski about whether or not he will play football next season. Many fans assumed his decision would follow shortly after Tom Brady’s, but it has been weeks since we learned Brady was retiring and we still have no indication about Gronk’s future.

That hasn’t stopped speculation about where he could play next season if he decides he wants to continue on in the NFL. Last month, Gronk named Joe Burrow as the quarterback he’d like to play with in the league right now, leading many to wonder if we could see Gronk join this year’s AFC champion.

However, there is another contender in the AFC that is reportedly interested in his services. According to Tim Graham of “The Athletic”, the Buffalo Bills are interested in adding Gronk to their squad that was just 13 seconds away from the AFC Championship Game this season.

I’m not sure how much sense the move actually makes for the Bills. They already have Dawson Knox on a really cheap rookie contract. Knox had a breakout season last year and was one of the league’s biggest surprises at the tight end position.

However, Gronk would make the Buffalo Bills offense even more terrifying after they have spent the last two seasons among the best offenses in the lead, led by Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

If Rob Gronkowski does return to the NFL next season, he’ll be a dangerous addition to any offense as he chases his 100th career touchdown and 10,000th yard.
