Green Bay Packers and their standout pass-rusher Rashan Gary have sealed the deal on a big contract extension worth $107.5 million, with $96 million in new money over the next four years.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport confirmed the agreement, which also includes a signing bonus of $34.6 million.

Gary himself took to social media to break the news bright and early on a Monday morning, with the contract keeping him in the Packers’ lineup until 2027.

Drafted as the 12th overall pick back in 2019, Gary has shown his ability with a total of 150 tackles and 27 sacks across 63 games. Notably, he bounced back impressively from a serious ACL injury last season, making a return in time for Week 1.

So far this season, he’s already notched up 4.5 sacks in just seven games, setting a pace for a career-high 11 sacks if he keeps up the pace.

With his 26th birthday just around the corner in December, Gary’s future looks promising. If he maintains his level of play, there might be more big paydays in store before he hits his age 30-season.
