Paddy Pimblett took home the win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282 in one of the most controversial judge calls ever. Now, we have the rising star share a contradicting take with Dana White about the fight.

Many believe the judges robbed Gordon of a victory on Saturday. Even so, Pimblett and White seem to believe the opposite, but can’t agree on one aspect of the bout.

According to MMA Junkie, Paddy Pimblett admits that he “coasted” in the third round against Jared Gordon. He also felt he was up two rounds to one entering the third and chose to kind of take a break there in round three. That’s a pretty bold decision that somehow paid off in his favor.

Meanwhile, Dana White makes a claim that completely contradicts Paddy Pimbletts statement, per MMA Junkie. Apparently, the UFC President believes Jared Gordon “threw the fight away” as he believes he coasted in round three as well. White goes on to essentially roast Gordon’s trainers for utilizing “a horrible gameplan.”

So, with that, it looks like both Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon somehow coasted round three at the same time. We’re not too sure who to believe. However, one thing that is clear is that most of the MMA world believes the judges gifted Pimblett that win at UFC 282.
