A scary situation is unfolding in Detroit.
On a routine blocking play, Panthers offensive lineman Chandler Zavala appeared to collapse face forward on the field.
Scary scene here as Panthers guard Chandler Zavala being transferred to a board to be carted off. Collided with Isaiah Buggs in a way that didn't look different than any other football snap, but immediately collapsed and wasn't moving.

Zavala laid motionless on the field before being turned over and carted off the field.
Thankfully Zavala gave fans a thumbs up while being carted off.

Update: Zavala has been taken to the hospital and is being evaluated for a neck injury.
