Former Chicago Bears running back, Tarik Cohen, is making a long-awaited return to the NFL after a three-year absence, and apparently signing with the Carolina Panthers.
Cohen, known for his electrifying speed and versatility, last saw NFL game action in 2020 before injuries sidelined him.
While an official announcement from the Panthers is pending, Cohen’s wife confirmed the news on her Instagram, stating that he received “the call” after a successful workout today.
Standing at just 5’6″ and weighing 191 pounds, Cohen defied size expectations during his tenure with the Bears.
The fourth-round pick from the 2017 NFL Draft proved himself as a dynamic player, earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2018 and making the Pro-Bowl.
One of his standout qualities is his ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game. In 2019, he caught an impressive 79 passes, and in 2018, he hauled in 71 receptions, showcasing his value as both a rusher and receiver.
Additionally, Cohen made his mark as a return specialist, accumulating 1,613 return yards.
