After the game, Mahomes Sr. said he had flown special Cuban cigars to smoke to celebrate the team’s win over Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
“This is a special blend for Lamar Jackson, I flew these in from Cuba, I had them shipped in from Cuba just for this occasion. it’s special blend for Lamar Jackson.”

Mahomes’ dad told the media was proud of his son for making another Super Bowl.
“I’m very excited, going back to another Super Bowl it’s more than anybody could even imagine. so I’m just happy. I’m always proud of him, I was proud of him before he started playing football, he makes me even more proud doing the things that he’s doing. ”
