Following the Chiefs comeback win over the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday night, Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP and got to say those five famous words ‘I’m going to Disney World.’

It turns out it was literally a dream come true for Mahomes as seven years ago he tweeted about how amazing it would be to shout those words after winning the Super Bowl.

That dream came true and Mahomes wasn’t going to take a day or two before making the trip to Disney World.

On Monday afternoon, Mahomes, his girlfriend Brittany Matthews, and surely other friends and family hopped on a private jet for the quick flight North to Orlando.

Alright, so, those shades. We all understand you’re on top of the world right now as a 24-year-old Super Bowl champion and MVP, but those aren’t it, my guy. You could go win the next 14 Super Bowls and those shades wouldn’t be the move, sir.

As for the ‘Showtime 15’ shirt, that’s a strange move as well, but I’m going to guess that the Chiefs PR team or Disney’s PR team told you to throw it on; we’ll let that one slide.

For those that may not know, the Super Bowl MVP screaming ‘I’m going to Disney World’ over the years isn’t just some random coincidence. Super Bowl MVP’s shout out the brand and company because Disney reportedly pays them to come to the park, take part in a parade and show face in a TV promo.

According to Newsweek, players are usually compensated up to $70,000 for their visit and quick TV promo.

WDW Magic also reported that for the first time, the park also invited one Make-A-Wish child to join Mahomes in the parade, which is awesome.

As the presenting sponsor of the Super Bowl MVP ceremony, Disney Parks for the first time is inviting one Make-A-Wish child – Nathaniel, 10, from Texas – to join Mahomes in the parade down Main Street, U.S.A. in Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. In addition, 17 other Make-A-Wish children, whose wishes were to attend the Super Bowl, are also extending their magical wishes by visiting Magic Kingdom Park on Monday.

Getting paid to go to Disney World and getting to share some time with Nathaniel is a pretty awesome way to celebrate a Super Bowl win.
