The Patriots’ offense has been putrid over the last three weeks, matching an embarrassing mark that hasn’t been seen in nearly a century. New England lost its third straight game while holding their opponent to 10 points or less.
The “feat” hasn’t happened since 1938, as the Pats set football back to the days of Curly Lambeau and George Halas with every passing week.
The Patriots are the first team since 1938 to lose 3 straight games where they allowed 10 points or fewer.

Over those last three contests, New England has scored a total of 13 points. They were beaten 10-6 by the Colts in Week 11, spoiling a trip to Frankfurt, Germany.
A week later, the Patriots’ offense mustered just seven points in a 10-7 loss to the Giants.
Their most recent matchup provided the worst performance as New England fell 6-0 to the Chargers on a rainy day in Foxborough. Nobody showed up to support the Pats on Sunday, and they certainly didn’t miss anything on the field.
Well, other than this unfortunate piece of history.
Bill Belichick record as head coach when allowing 10 points or fewer (incl. playoffs)

It’s been a disappointing season to say the least for Bill Belichick’s bunch. Losers of their last five games, New England is now 2-10 on the year.
Another low scoring affair could be in store next weekend when the Patriots take their offense to Pittsburgh to face a potentially Kenny Pickett-less Steelers team.
