The NBA playoffs have been absolutely electric the past few weeks, and tonight’s Game Six between the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards was yet another thriller. In an elimination game for Washington, the Wizards trailed by three on the game’s final possession when Paul Pierce hit a ridiculous fadeaway three to tie the game at the buzzer. Except once it was reviewed, the bucket was waived off as the referees ruled that Pierce didn’t get it off in time. It was super close though — did the refs get the call right?
It looks like the right call for me, but that’s a really tough way to exit the playoffs for the Wizards. It looked like The Truth had just worked a little more magic.
