Penn College fell to Lancaster Bible College (LBC) late last week. It was the second time Penn College Men’s Basketball has lost to Lancaster Bible College this season. Until this morning, I never even knew LBC exists but it sounds like there’s a budding rivalry deep in the heart of Pennsylvania between these two schools.
At some point during the game, one of the Penn College players mistakenly went to pass the ball to his coach, which may be indicative of why this team’s getting beaten twice by a school named Lancaster Bible College. But, instead of just holding onto the ball and tossing it back to the referee the Penn College coach drained a three from the bench, sending an instant wave of energy to his team.
The Wildcats (Penn College) are off to a rough start this season. They’re currently 5-9 overall with a 2-7 record on the road. They’ve got some serious work to do if they want to make it to .500 by the end of the season. But with a coach like that, draining 3’s from the bench, I think they’ve got the perfect man on the sidelines to right the ship.
