Ben Roethlisberger decided to finally get a haircut and trim up his caveman beard this past week. But, unlike the rest of us that have either cut their own hair or asked their significant other to really mess our trim up, he visited a barbershop. Remember barbershops? Damn, those places were cool.
Anyways, just like everything these days, Roethlisberger’s decision to pay a visit to a barber is controversial in some people’s eyes including Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
“My concern is just a general concern and anybody who puts himself or herself into harm’s way is something I think we ought to try to avoid,” Wolf said during his daily briefing on Tuesday. “And when you go to something like a barbershop and you’re not protected, I don’t care who you are. The chances of that virus wreaking havoc on your life increases.”
The Steelers decided to put out a video of Roethlisberger throwing a few passes to JuJu Smith-Schuster and other teammates which also showed a brief clip of Roethlisberger getting his hair did by a couple of people. There’s no telling when the video was taken, but it had to be fairly recent.
The beard is trimmed…

Sure, you could sit here and say that Roethlisberger visiting a barbershop was ‘risky’ but you could also say that it’s a sizeable flex from Big Ben. After all, millions of dudes all around the country are dying to sit back in the chair and have a trained professional give them a trim, myself included.
