Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t ever been the fittest player in the NFL, we all know this, but he has hoisted two Lombardi’s and been to six Pro Bowls, so who the hell are we to judge the guy? In fact, with the emergence of his dad bod over the years and the recent caveman beard, he’s given hope to everyone carrying dad bods around these days.

Roethlisberger has put together quite a career and knows what the hell he’s doing when it comes to offseason workout plans and such. Sure, the injury bug has bitten him quite a few times over the past few seasons, but we’re talking about a 38-year-old quarterback that has taken his fair share of beatings over the years.

While many of us probably have an idea as to what Roethlisberger’s offseason workouts consist of, Jay Glazer alleged that Big Ben has been doing nothing but playing golf and doing a bunch of 12 oz. curls.

First of all, let’s not put the words fitness and Ben Roethlisberger together, they are allergic to each other. There is no fitness in Ben Roethlisberger. His idea of a great off-season workout program is doing one yoga session, playing golf, and drinking some beer. However, yes, what Mike Tomlin and Roethlisberger have done there has been incredible.

That’s so strange that Roethlisberger’s offseason workout plan is identical to my all-year workout plan.

The Steelers haven’t had a losing season since drafting Roethlisberger since 2004, so maybe Glazer should lay off the guy a bit. Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with spending every waking moment in the offseason on a golf course with a cold beer in-hand, that’s the dream.
