Peyton Manning is probably regretting his decision to invite Ed Reed on the ManningCast right about now.
On Monday night, Reed appeared on the ManningCast to talk over the Ravens-Bucs game .
During the game, Reed noticed a Bucs player wearing a Guardian Cap, which Manning noted was for “extra protection.”
Things got extremely awkward on the broadcast when Reed questioned the effectiveness of the Guardian Cap.
“How much safety is that thought?…Do you really think that protection is going to do something past that carbon fiber that is on the helmet?” said Reed.
Manning tried several times to change the subject, but Reed continued to rant about the guardian caps and concussions.
