There has been nobody in college football that has been busier than Deion Sanders since he joined the Colorado Buffaloes.

Coach Prime has brought in the nation’s best transfer class, which includes 27 players.

However, he has also had quite a few players hit the transfer portal as well.

Last week, 5 Colorado players hit the transfer portal in the same day before the spring game, bringing their total over 20 players to have hit the portal.

Following the spring game they’ve lost some more pieces, including the player that led the Buffaloes in receiving during the spring game.

Today they had another surprising departure.

According to On3’s Matt Zenitz, cornerback Tayvion Beasley, who transferred to Colorado in December, has re-entered the transfer portal.

Beasley spent his freshman season playing for Sanders at Jackson State and made a pair of interceptions during the season. It looks like that wasn’t enough to prove that he was needed on a Colorado roster that now features two of the top recruits at the position in recent years.

When Sanders arrived at Colorado, he told the players already on the roster to be ready to hit the transfer portal after winning 1 game the previous year. I guess we all just didn’t realize that his advice also applied to players who came with him from Jackson State.

Luckily for Sanders, it has seemed that he has already had a replacement ready for just about every transfer he has lost this offseason, but at some point you have to wonder how it will impact the team’s depth.

Whatever the final result will be this season, there have been a whole lot of changes for the Colorado Buffaloes since Deion Sanders arrived.
